This piece was an interesting find. It was found in some crushed rock on a small service road in northern Bienville Parish in north Louisiana. Much of the crushed stone we have here is from Arkansas and Im quite certain that this is no exception. It looks like white sprays of pectolite with purple fluorite, perhaps from the Martin Marietta quarry in Jones Mill? Total FOV = 4mm; 29 images stacked using Photoshop CS6 and processed with Topaz Detail 3.
