This post is awesome. Its so easy and socially acceptable for a guy to pick up on what a woman is saying and carry it forward, completely stealing the momentum she had. Im totally guilty of doing it. Im pretty sure I did it at least twice today. When I screw up, I try to put the emphasis back on the woman speaking if I realise Ive jumped in and acknowledge the fact that I interrupted and was out of line. Once I became sensitive, I was surprised how often it happens. Also surprised how frequently women accept it.
