This post is on behalf of the Adelaide Hills Kennel Club with respect to our upcoming shows in 3 weeks time After taking all circumstances into account and with consultation with authorities, the Committee of the Adelaide Hills Kennel Club has made the decision the shows will remain - as stated in the schedule - at Lobethal Oval. Country ovals are considered safe havens in any emergency and the location of this oval is within a Country township - which only further increases the safety level. The current fire situation has not impacted the grounds or the vicinity of the town - in fact it has posed more of a risk and threat to fringe suburbs of the metropolitan area. The Club is committed to supporting the local Adelaide Hills community by remaining at the current location after considering the factors above. We thank everyone in advance for your ongoing support of the Club (and the Hills community) through our shows in the Adelaide Hills this message will also be provided to Dogs SA to place on their website to add further In the case of Saturday and Sunday proceeding as day shows - there will be NO lunch break, judging will continue straight through to GS CFS will be running the BBQ at the events with the Lobethal Football Club running their meals - with the menu attached here.
