This post is rated A...read at your own peril... Liv texted me earlier in the day to say that she was heading to the library with her friend (who is a boy) after school. After school, it was starting to get stormy. My husband asked if he should pick her up. I told him Id text Liv to find out. I send a couple of texts and receive no answer. Thats not normal... I wait a few more minutes I send another text No answer I call, it goes to Voicemail. I leave a stern message to call me... No answer Now I begin to panic, just a touch...when does she not have her phone??? I tell my husband that Im driving to the library and he agrees. I tell him Ill keep in touch. I drive and try not to speed in the snow. My tire pressure light comes on, I likely have a flat I dont care I pull into the library parking lot and I receive a text: Liv: OH sorry what is it Mom? My vibration isnt working for my phone Me: OLIVIA! I was panicked! I am in the parking lot now Liv: Sure...were coming out now I immediately let out an audible breath and text my husband quickly: Me: Shes here. Her vibrator wasnt working Him: I beg your pardon??? Me: ON HER PHONE. Note to self... Proof-read texts before hitting SEND... I need a drink...or 4
