This post this for all the children out there that think they had a horrible childhood. I had what some might consider an abusive childhood compared to today standards. My father rarely ever said he was sorry or made a mistake. A many years ago, I was talking to my father and he told me this, there are no rule books, written guidelines for raising kids except trail and error. Maybe someone time, I went over board and for that I am sorry but I did the best I could. I agree with him. Any anger I had towards him ended that day. My father died 5 years ago, I miss him everyday. Parents do the bet they can and sometimes make mistakes but at some point you need to let go of the anger. My father also said that from birth till age 18, any mistakes are your parents fault but when you turn 18, the choices are yours !!
