This post was inspired by a great question by Thomas Deja concerning a television series about the character, Machete, portrayed masterfully by Danny Trejo in Robert Rodriquezs MACHETE and MACHETE KILLS, meeting with other characters, and having crossover team-ups. These two characters came to mind immediately: Cherry Darling from Robert Rodriguezs PLANET TERROR, and Ash Williams from Sam Raimis EVIL DEAD trilogy. Oh, the fun these three would have taking out legions upon legions of zombies while on their way to Baja, California to establish a safe haven and base of operations for the scattered human resistance forces taking on the undead. That would be one hell of a movie!
