This post was originally from a Yakima Friend in LIBERTY, thought this was a good place to share it. I will never forget the day that not only took the lives of 3,000 innocent civilians but set in motion a series of events that include the following -the loss of half a million civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan -the thousands of troops coming back with PTSD and/or otherwise permanently disabled (if they are lucky enough to come home at all) -the passing of the Patriot Act which has systematically snooped on law abiding US citizens ever since -the expansion of the TSA which to this day still has nothing positive to show for their intrusive efforts -the expansion of legitimized domestic military style law enforcement on U.S. soil -the newly minted borderless campaign against ISIL, which surely will result in more of the same How would it be possible to forget?
