This precinct is in the heat of our community and we are going to make it a place we can be proud of. It is a win for Frankston that has been 40 years in the making! Our election commitment was to announce the taskforce to lead this critical transformation within 100 days of of taking office. We have been working hard, delivering on this initial commitment in just over half that time. In addtion to the $50 million commitment to transform Frankston Station and Young St, the $13 million in funding already allocated to Young St improvements will be honored and a further $46.9 million will be invested to deliver stage one improvements to Chisholm TAFE. All up, the State Goverments overall investment to revitalise Frankston is $110 million Our next step will be the first meeting of the Taskforce next month, with a report to submitted to the Minister by August. I look forward to chairing the taskforce and working with our council and local community.
