This pretty girl was rescued by Wish Bone Canine Rescue and is being fostered by wonderful people here in Bloomington, IL. Wish Bone and her foster are working hard to help her heal. As you can see from her early pictures when she was first rescued, August was in really bad shape. The image not included is a large sore on her hip. I can say that from those original images to the girl I met today, August has come a long way. She is even starting to grow hair on her hip where the sore was. August has an amazing personality and is just the biggest lovebug I have ever met. She still has more recovery ahead of her but she is looking amazing. Ill have more photos up of her tomorrow afternoon. *Notice her heart shaped nose and the heart on her side. These heart shapes are so fitting for her personality.
