This project made me think of the Cortland Standard Photographer, Art Allen and wonder what became with all of the photos he took over the years. It is my understanding that he was a contract photographer and therefore owned all of the pictures that he took. The Cortland Standard just paid for the ones they used. I never remember seeing him without his camera. If the family still has his photos and his negatives this would be of some value to the Cortland Historical Society.
