This question is for anybody with an interest in guitars, but especially for FB friends Joe Brasher, Mark Taylor, Dalton Smith, George Wallace, Jr, Tom Shepherd, Chris Shepherd, Mark Gaines, Adam Dannaman, Jimmy Entrekin, Chuck Cleckler, Caleb Cook, Jonah Muncher, Sam Roberts, Mandy Brown, Erica Antonoplos, Lisa Williams, and Phil Williams. What do you think of the new Fender guitar, I think it is called the Fender V, and the Line 6 Variax? These solid body electrics have the ability to mimic, or model, up to 29 different stringed instruments. You can get one guitar and make it sound like a 12-string, a Gretch, acoustic, a vintage Strat, even a sitar, and so forth. What do you think? How does the purist feel about this evolution of the guitar? Is this the only guitar a beginner will have to buy or the last guitar a player will have to buy? These two are affordable from roughly $1,000.00 to $1,600.00. In Bham, I know Guitarfx in Trussville has the Fender and Guitar Center, currently out of stock, carries the Line 6 Variax. Does any other company make a similar model? What do you think? Sound off.
