This rain is unprecedented. We have never had to deal with so much rain in the Fall other than Hurricane Wilma. As a result of not having any real practice times and teams not having even met each other, we decided to postpone opening day. If the fields are open Saturday, we encourage you to use your game time as an opportunity to practice. All the activities are being rescheduled, including the Strikers and Panthers. Rain or shine, we are going to host soccer 101 in our building by field 2 at 9 a.m. sharp till about 10:15. This is a class designed for soccer newbies who want to learn the basics. All are welcome to attend. We will have coffee and junk food. Anyone who prefers a healthy breakfast, eat before joining us:)
