This really irritates me because Ive always liked Gwyneth Paltrow ugh. Im sorry, I really LOATHE the mompetition argument. Being a mom is a tough thing (notice how I didnt call it a job because its not. Being a parent is not a job) for every mom or dad in some cases. Its hard if you work, its hard if you stay home, its hard if you work from home. We all face different situations, we all struggle with feeling like inadequate parents, like we arent doing it right, like our children dont listen, like we spend too much time away or get no time to ourselves. Being a parent is tough, plain and simple but these comments really set me over the edge because it isnt easy for anyone. I despise when ANYONE remarks that I or you or Sally Smith in California has it easy as a parent. NO ONE does, get it through your thick skulls and stop trying to okay the martyr that does it all and everyone else pales in comparison. We all have it rough. Some days are easy and some are really, really tough. Enough with the which mom has it harder argument. Its BS.
