This really stuck home to me because I was part of a family - TopicsExpress

This really stuck home to me because I was part of a family business that ran a garment factory. I have been in the Canadian equivalent of these factories, with workers from all over the world, who worked as hard and fast as they could for as much as we could pay them. Its hard repetitive work with dangerous machinery. We only had 8 hour days, instead of the standard 10 in Bangladesh, and we offered extended medical and dental benefits. We usually only broke even each year, and rarely made a profit. I dont know who to tell that these people need better working conditions.
