This refusal or delay in an answer to the question is guttersnipe political interference by Government Ministerial Dictat to Civil Servants who work for the Crown. I was under the impression guttersnipe political action or inaction was long ago laid to rest with the demise of the militant tendency, but no here it is in all its glory resurrected by the Government Department Lorded over by Iain Duncan Smith MP, the failed Tory Leader and former failed Army Officer who even admits to Benefit Fraud himself when first married. If this is the type of obfuscation Freedom of Information Act question are going to generate from Government Departments and other Public Organisations? then what is the point of retaining the Freedom of Information Act? If its not going to work? then toss it out and close all the windows and doors, draw up the shutters, quietly retire and await the end, for it is only a matter of time.
