This religion of God is the first to consecrate women and reaffirm their status in the society as mothers by declaring, “Heaven lies at the feet of the mother”. Motherhood is glorified and given its true place. The civilized world before that had no conception of the lofty and important place of women in the society. As Islam ensured that place, we see women in Islam playing the part of a counselor, consoler, comforter, adviser and companion to man. We see women inspiring men and sharing their sorrows and happiness, as equal partners. Islam strictly and unequivocally, rejecting all the vilification against women firmly established them as equals in the society, humanized and granted them honorable status. Who are we, the mortals, to destabilize the equilibrium and use filthy language to describe and depict women?
