This reminds me of one of my dog I use to have. When my kids were little, my husband and I had very little money. So I decide to make 3 dozen Stain Glass Sugar cookies into ornaments for the tree. You make them from sugar cookies recipe, cut the cookies into Christmas shapes. Then you cut the same shape out of the middle of the cookie. Add foil to cookie sheet and add fruit flavored lifesavers (or hard candies into the middle hole where the candy will melted to resemble stain glass. I added a hole at with ribbon tied on top to hang from tree. The tree looked beautiful! Came home from work the next day, tree was on the floor with not one cookie was left or crumb.
