This right here shows exactly what country music and being country is truly all about. Too often we hear only about the stereotypes of country music and hardly ever anything about its strengths. Too many people this day and age believe that country music is only about beer, trucks, break-ups and religion. They also believe that in order to be country you have to dress, talk or even act a certain way when in all reality, country music and being country isnt about any of that. To me its about knowing where you’re from. Its knowing how to love what you have and work hard for what you don’t. It’s about tradition. It’s about saying whats on your mind and telling it how it is. It’s about love, respect, and pride. Im seriously so extremely proud to say that Im a country music fan and a true country girl.
