This sculpture illustrates (consciously or not) Mother Natures vast abundance. Her Mission is that Life continue, and if she must sacrifice some of her cubs, kittens, puppies, seeds, nuts, eggs, by making far more than her world has room for, to ensure that some live, she is willing and able to do so. Her Intention is for Life to survive and flow on, so she makes far more seeds than will ever root and bear fruit. Quantity before quality accomplishes this, and in Her great cycles, death is interwoven with and inextricable from Life. Most of these dandelion seeds will never sprout, but in the infinitely unending currents of Life and Death, this is part of the pattern she weaves. When humans join the weaving, we consider quality of Life too, with mixed results. For us, learning this balance is an art in progress.
