This shit makes me violently angry. When I first saw this story I thought it might be a hoax - one of those with cloudy origins where the photo is hijacked by some creative weirdo with an ax to grind against corporate America. I just cant imagine someone asking an injured child to leave a restaurant under such circumstances. It didnt occur to me that it might be the old fashioned kind of hoax, where the family was lying for personal gain. It is HORRIBLE what happened to this child, and I hope her grandfather is held responsible for her injuries. Really, why the hell do you need to own 10 pittbulls? And if the rest of the family made this KFC story up just to drum up donations, they also should be punished. This was NOT a victimless crime. Real people were threatened and assaulted at KFC because of this. We seem to be a pretty giving people overall, and with some creativity they could have raised support more honestly. Now, with this deception, some of those who did donate may be hesitant to give to the next child in need.
