This short VIDEO is just so INCREDIBLY WRONG for many reasons! Its a Stop Gun Violence public service announcement and KIDS are seeing it on TV! The video starts with the boy taking his mother’s pistol from her dresser and stuffing it into his backpack ... while it’s probably loaded and without a holster. The boy then takes it to SCHOOL with him, and at the end of the class, he sets it down on his teacher’s desk and tells her, “Can you take this away? I don’t feel safe with a gun in my house.” Other than a couple of frames that say, “Our children deserve a safe world,” and “Stop gun violence now,” the video has no other message. So what else could we assume other than its creator wants children who see it to copy what the boy did and take a stand against their parents owning guns.
