This should outrage you no matter which party you are in. We are doomed in this state. If you are one who talks about compromise, redistricting would have really helped that come true. Instead we will be aloud by our political parties to vote on a non-binding referendum on the minimum wage. Another feel good but do nothing referendum instead of two referendums that may have given us a chance to get out of the hole Mike Madigan has almost single-handedly put us in. This is very sad. The politicians have all the power is what they are telling us with this court battle and the judicial system will go along with them because it is the law? Wonder who wrote those laws so the citizens would never have a choice. You get what you vote for and in Illinois we have a terrible track record. Hold on to your wallets.
