This show, Women Artists, Intertwined, led to my being contacted by a major museum in the city and to consult them about my cousin, Helena Rubinstein for an upcoming show on her as a major art collector. She was similar to Peggy Guggenheim, only she never built a giant museum like that. So, as a result of a humble library show in the Village, because of the cyberspace, they found out about me. They still dont care that I am an artist, but in order for me to explain the family connection, I can refer to that show. This is why it is important to have a complex thesis. In this show, not only do I present this family connection through looking at the portraits, but I also imbed this information into portraits of Frida Kahlo, Tamara de Lempicka, and Natalia Goncharova along with like-color portrayals of their art work, as well as a sense, through at least 100 miniatures of their time, for the people of that era, all in the Fauvist style of that time.
