This site is killing me, I am wondering if I should have joined. My first vehicle was a 1986 D21, I almost literally drove it into the ground. 250000 miles, bed rusted out floor boards rusted out, battery and alternator nearly dead, clutch slave cylinder was going out, front end damage from hitting a deer, but the motor was still running strong. I had no money to fix it and wound up having to sell it for salvage, a decision I have always regretted, I loved that truck. About a year and a half ago I finally got the opportunity to buy another; a 1987 4 wheel drive extended cab D21 with almost 600000 miles on the odometer. Tons of rust, needed a lot of work just to pass inspection, but I love it nearly as much as my first. The problem is I am seeing all of your beautiful trucks and all the work you have put into them and I want to rebuild mine, I just need to win the lottery.
