This sketch and words written by my brother Joe (Frank) after he attended a local concert. Went to Mile One friday night to see Bob Dylan. It was a great show, though both of my sons said they couldnt understand a word he sang. Ran into cousin Eddie Breen outside, after the show, he loved it and was going again Saturday. My son Jerome said to Eddie that he thought all the songs were the same just different tempos. Eddie says, But thats Dylan, Jerome, he sings down in his boots when hes not singing through his nose, and youcant understand many of his words, and he stands sideways to the audience, and doesnt interact at all, but then hes an icon. Well, we all loved Dylan somehow, but brother Paul was probably his biggest fan. Paul died tragically by drowning at Rocky Pond, Tors Cove in July of 1975. So when I listened to Dylan, I thought about Paul, a guitar player, like myself, and a lover of Dylan.The pencil sketch I found recently in an old photo album I must had sketched shortly after his funeral, below it is the song his buddies made up and sang at his funeral.
