This song reminds me of the words my mother told us the day before she passed. Those words stuck in my head .. she said as she looked at all of us as we sat and cried..... there is a god, have faith and dont fight. When she passed I was so mad at god, how could he take my mother, I needed her she was my rock, my comfort zone, the person I would call just so I could hear her voice and hear her tell me she loves me and misses me. How could I have faith in God when he took my mother away. .. until father Ted, my mothers priest explained why. I came back to Florida and went to church with my sister Barbara Cook Flora still looking for more answers. Until one day at church, I closed my eyes and said.. I have faith god help me to let you in my life more. So every time I here this song I think back..to the words of my mother.. have faith, there a god......R.i.p momma, I love you and miss you so much.
