This song was HUGE when I was growing up. Well...huge if you were in a Christian youth group, non-existent if you werent. I may or may not have cranked this song in my bedroom and re-enacted every jerky move and stern look of Mr. W. Smith. Like most music videos from the 80s, it does not hold up very well. It is quite obvious that the talent for this video was were simply volunteers from Stone Creek First Christian Church. At 2:21 there is literally a blonde-haired blue-eyed girl playing the part of a middle eastern child. Is that Jesus or an angry Ray Boltz? Did they REALLY have mullets in Judaea?
