This spring I am planning a tower maintenance / Deck break in party. Sorry I dont have a picture of the tower but I am so ashamed of it I wouldnt post it now anyway. over the last 7 years , all of the nylon ties have rotted away and the cables are flapping in the wind. I really dont want to put my shack in the house but rather in the shop that is in the lower left hand corner of the picture elbow. I have a 500 foot roll of LMR400 and that should be more than long enough to go from the equipment room that is at the base of the tower. I dont plan on doing a lot of DX but I do want to do a fair amount of satellite. So 2m and 7cm shouldnt be an issue with 170 of LMR400 with one poloyphaser in the equipment room. Yes I am also a UAV pilot.
