This status will probably offend some people and if you do not like it, unfriend me. Those of you who truly know me will understand what I am saying even if I do not express myself exactly the way I mean for it to sound. As I hear the news on the radio this morning about Rawls being sworn in today as City Mayor, they stress the fact that he is African American. I personally am sick of the fact that everything has become about race or gender instead of about morals and integrity and who is right for the job. I dont care if you are red, yellow, black or white, we are all precious in Jesus sight and some of my best friends and prayer warriors are African American or Hispanic. That is the way my parents raised me. So shame on you if you vote for color or gender when voting. Vote for the person who will make your hometown something to be proud of! And thats all I have to say about that!
