This still doesnt feel real. To think you went in for a simple procedure; but didnt make it back out. As a nurse; you learn to appreciate a good aide and you learn to recognize a rare chemistry. Thank you for being my right hand man. The type of aide that I could count on. The type of aide that did before I got the chance to ask, the type of aide that knew what I was thinking before I got the chance to speak, the type of aide that made my residents and their families feel loved and the type of aide that made me proud. I felt as though you got me because we were both, as you used to put it, medical problem children. Always going through something, but we always got through whatever it was together. Even better than anything else, you were a great mom. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to be a part of your life. Our weekend family will continue to cherish such great memories.
