This store was on the north side of 42nd St. btwn. Bway & 8th Ave...closer to 8th. They specialized in flashy disco pimp attire before it was something parodied. I believe the pic is also featured in the book STOREFRONT. Im finding something that identifies a James and Karla Murray Photography. The only reason I went in there is because I was sent in to pick up my proper size in costume accessories for a cruise ship show that I did in 1980. They were a class act in the fact that they had fitters/tailors on staff.
