This storm has been really rough on us at RRR. Last night was a late night horse rescue (details later), even later night preparing for the storm and then all day today managing flooding. Luckily its not very cold here yet! Unfortunately, our barn fundraiser at the restaurant a few weeks ago, broke even with the advertising costs. It was a lot of fun and it appeared to have a great turn out, but the numbers just did not work out in our favor, sadly. We greatly appreciate all the people who came out to support us! On the coat tails of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, (Something) Sunday, Cyber Monday..... We now have Giving Tuesday. Would you consider helping us? Weve been in the trenches literally and figuratively for a long time now, making the difference between life and death for hundreds of animals, from chickens to horses... Any donation made to Rocky Ridge Rescue is tax deductible and will go toward building a larger winter shelter for the 16 rescued horses, fencing and shelter for the sheep and pigs that is desperately needed.
