This story is in memory of my late father who sadly passed away suddenly last march. My hero and a true biker! In the small garden shed, lay boxes of oily nuts bolts oiled chains, rusty wheels and bits of fibreglass. These were the remainders of dads 1950s machine. I came along and money was tight so the bike was no longer and just a memory of fun. Years went by another child and still the boxes lay. Neighbours would say youll never rebuild that bike. 38 years on after blood sweat and swearing with every spare pound the machine was recreated, now at 70 years old dad would spend every spare minute of his working life to work on her. One day I found him in the garage and there she was finished. Dad 71 with the biggest smile on his face as he started her up after 38 years. My what a moment. His dream was to take her to the isle of man last year, which was to be his last trip of the island. Sadly dad passed away last march aged 72 suddenly. Im so happy he followed his dream, and did what he loved the most Motorcycling!!
