This story just came through my inbox: Driving around Kaneshie this morning, I became thirsty and decided to stop by a shop quickly. I parked next to a car that had a little girl of not more than 8 years old sitting in the back. A man neatly dressed in a pair of green trousers and yellow tshirt was standing next to her window. Coming to a halt, I was particularly interested in how he was nervously moving his weight from one leg to another at the sight at me looking at him from the corner of my left eye. He was sweating on his arms and forehead profusely. When I opened my door, I heard the little girls voice first no my mummy said I should wait here and then he seemingly lowered his voice trying to convince her yes we will come back.just now. I immediately felt a pang of fear, gathered my courage, smiled and asked is that your daughter? of course I knew he wasnt her father. He only looked straight at me and glided past my car door and started to walk away briskly. I started shouting at attendants around screaming that he was trying to kidnap the little girl..but.he ran off. The noises we were.making attracted the.people in the shop and they all came running outside. I narrated what happened to the girls mother and she said when she parked the car, that gentleman I had described helped her to park and told her he would take care of her car. She thought it was safe to leave her daughter in the car because the shop had a security man. The attendant responded madam our security man didnt come today oh. We dont have anyone here..that was not our security man. Looking wide eyed at Me I warned the lady to be more careful.. When I sat back in my car I said a quick prayer..thanking God for using me to save a life.
