This story may be of interest to family & close friends. The photos inserted were of a special significance in ending a chapter of my life that started just over 5 years ago. On the 5th Nov - 2009 I had a profound and life changing event happen in my life. Everything I thought to be true was a lie and my life ambitions changed drastically towards a new direction. Due to the nature of my work, I have dedicated the past 5 years to understanding the nature of human movement from a holistic standpoint. Using my broken and ceased bodybuilders body, I slowly begun to unravel my joints and muscles one step at a time through mainly trail and error. However I was hugely influenced by a holistic practitioner in Vancouver who simplified the mystery of our body into simple concepts. During this time I have formulated training pyramid based on balancing strength, mobility & flexibility within our training and daily lives. Some of the results during this time have been truly transformational on physiological and psychological levels, & have left my training philosophy fresh, open and flexible. Although I am about to graduate with a degree this Friday, I felt this 5 year masters of body control was in another stratosphere of personal satisfaction. This feeling of achievement came to a end as I completed the most demanding single effort of willpower during a 2 1/2 hour walk from 1100 meters above sea level with a estimated 45 kgs of Tahr over my shoulders. Having discovered every possible muscle within my body I was able to navigate an event that truly changed my life unscathed... somehow managing to get this beautiful animal out to the truck and complete what seemed to be a fitting end to a era. As I reached the truck, I was over whelmed with emotion and tears of joy and pain accompanied myself over the last leg of this journey. Thanks you to every person that has been part of this journey with me, however a huge thanks goes to my wonderful wife Perla Bucknell for putting up with me & my good mate Greg Flannery for sharing this final adventure with me. Tineke Powell can please show this to Greg. I will be returning to full time work in 2015 and I look forward to inspiring the lives of my clients and athletes as I start a new chapter in my life. Love to all during this festive period. Johnny.
