This story will touch your heart....these three girls are sisters. They are ready for the Father/Daughter dance at their school, which they had attended in the past with their father. They lost their dad in 2012, when he was killed in the line of duty. Still wanting to go to the dance, the girls told their Mom, who said they could ask anyone they wanted. They chose to ask officers who had once worked with their Daddy. Of course they said yes. After the dance one of the officers said: “It was very sentimental, emotional and powerful for me. We’ve all become like family. We were able to help fill a void for the O’Rourkes this night. It was a blast.” And the officer on the right later posted this on his Facebook page: “Tonight was an amazing night. I had the privilege of taking Andrea O’Rourke to her dance. She liked her flowers and I got candies from her. We go to dinner and the waitress came over and asked if we were going to the dance.
