This stretch of days is always so important to me. For one thing, I have so much to be thankful for. Despite a few things, such as one non-functioning kidney and one that is barely functioning, I have been on home dialysis and saw my kidney function improve to the point where I dont have to do that any more (knock on wood). I have my family. I have a good job that I enjoy (for a few more months until I retire). Another thing about this stretch of days comes tomorrow. Nov. 25 is my anniversary and tomorrow will mark 36 years. She is my best friend, my rock, and the best person I know. And shes put up with far more than I deserved. Im truly blessed to have her in my life. And thats another thing Im so thankful for this week, and all weeks.
