This summer I attended two very special 40th reunions with my classmates from Washington Senior High School (Senior year) and Forest City High School (kindergarten through Junior year). It was so amazing to be able to reconnect with all my friends, many of whom I hadnt seen in over 40 years, and realize how much they mean to me and how the bonds of our friendship are just as strong, supportive, warm, caring and poignant as they were so many years ago. I also had other emotions, and those were for the friends we have lost. Friends such as Bob Levad from FCHS this past June as well as Dr. Tom Braithwaite from WSHS the end of July, both by cancer. Today I found a guitar piece that I really fell in love with. And the more I listened to it the more it reminded me of the emotions I felt at my reunions. Im not sure if youll feel the same way as me, but I think youll really love this performance by a Scandinavian (how appropriate!) composer and classical guitarist Per-Olov Kindgren. https://youtube/watch?v=jXC9tuumjiA
