This summer, Life Teen will be hosting its bi-annual L.I.G.H.T. WORK CAMP. Teens and leaders spend five days working side by side as they beautify, build, and serve at several different sites throughout the valley such as Catholic Charities, Catholic Worker, Living Grace Home, Salvation Army, Three Square Food Bank and many more. The nights will be just as bright, as God works through prayer, special events and nationally-recognized guest speakers & musicians. As you can imagine, this work camp (food, transportation, supplies, etc) does take a lot of funds to operate. It costs about $250.00 per teen, but we try and cut that cost down to $150 by asking the community to get involved and support them in their service. We have created a paint-brush-fundraiser where we invite you to sponsor a teen. Each paintbrush is $50.00. You can sponsor a teen yourself or team up with others. If you sponsor a teen, you will receive a journal that one of the teens kept during the work camp so you can read about their experience. If you are unable to sponsor a teen, financially, we ask that you keep everyone involved in this work camp in your prayers. We truly appreciate your support!
