This summer has been so monumental that I can’t help but consider it an entire chapter of my life in of itself. I have met so many insanely talented and dedicated people. I have been to many shows in my lifetime, but some of the best shows Ive ever seen were right here under the roof that my best and closest friends occupy. I am extremely humbled by this. I am so incredibly thankful that so many people have entrusted me with the chance to give them a place to play and furthermore for those who have chased their curiosity and found this place. The Batcave has taught me an endless amount of lessons about life, about people and about myself. I wouldnt trade this experience for any other. I honestly wasnt sure if we were even going to make it through this summer. Alas, we are two shows away from completing this daunting task. Through this experience Ive tested my own limits. I have not always succeeded, I have not always made the right decision, but as each situation passes Ive been thinking deeply on how to grow and use my experience to make wiser decisions. Tonights show will be a collection of artists and people who have helped me in endless ways to succeed and learn. Gifts, Arrows in her, Gatherer, and Paste have played here a handful of times each and its a complete honor to host them every night they play. This post is mostly a shout out to them for believing in me, supporting me and always giving me a chance to help them. I am most excited for tonights show because the weather is beautiful and the fruits of all this endless toil seem to be finally blooming.
