This summer, one of our juniors attended a once-in-a-lifetime community service trip to Guatemala through Global Visionaries. To prepare for the trip, she worked with her Education Specialist to apply for a passport, fill out paperwork, and find appropriate clothing to take in our Wearhouse. Our Little Wishes team helped cover some of the fees for her trip, and after some fundraising on her own, she boarded a plane for the first time. She spent ten days learning how to be a global citizen in Central America and has already started to research future international opportunities!
