This summer the aging Mountaineer Creek Bridge on the Stuart Lake Trail was replaced with a gorgeous new log stringer bridge. A crew from the Washington Trails Association constructed a fantastic temporary bridge for use while the primary bridge was replaced. Our trail crew from the Wenatchee River Ranger District spent many hours hauling new logs in and constructing the bridge in these pictures; and all with hand tools....no power tools! So here is a big shout out to the WTA and the trail crew from the WRRD for all their work!
