This sure resonates with me. I am deeply disturbed how American, and most 1st world Christians in industrialized countries, seem unmoved, if aware at all, of the persecution of Christians around the world. I have for a year now promoted on this group the needs of a Christian enclave in Pakistan, served by brave family men like our group members Javed Irshad and pastor Babar Ramat. What I understand is that they have received very little financial support or even words of encouragement from western Christians, even the informed members of this group. Think about that, please, in relation to biblical obedience. I know times are tough for many of us. Franky however, we cant begin to imagine how dangerous, difficult and exhausting being a Christian is for Christian minorities in Muslim countries, or in China or North Korea. Compared to their daily lives and outlook for the future, we live like royal elites, yet we bemoan our circumstances like spoiled children. At least communicate with Javed though this group and browse his Little Disciples Children Ministry page. Thank you. I appreciate you receiving my words with grace even though I vented my frustration.
