This sweetheart was rescued by 2 amazing fosters! They found out he was living in a garage, in the heart of buffalo, and only being fed once a week. They trecked out, in this weather, and saved him last night. He is very malnourshed, unneutered, no vetting ever done, and was never in a warm home before yesterday. Rockie is around a year, and is a super sweet rottie/shep mix. We will be focusing on getting him to a healthy weight so he can be vaccinated. Then we will get him neutered. He has some dew claws that are in need of removal as well. Thanks to Pet Supplies Plus, we are able to get him on some high quality puppy food and nutrical to help pack on the weight. Rockie will not be ready for adoption anytime soon, but you can see how happy he already is just being in a warm home. Charie and Tracie will spoil the dickens out of him as he works on getting healthy. We will be setting up a pledgie by tomorrow for those of you who are able to help with donations for the unexpected costs. We really do have the BEST team here at HSH Rescue.
