This takes discipline - 8 years on the street whether in front of Shakespeare house in Stratford, Exeter Cathedral, Portobello Rd, Birmingham New Street or out side the Coffee Bean on Fairfax LA, it all looks the same to me a concrete slab - our stage. Lugging the gear across the Atlantic,cant believe we did that- we pawned the guitars so many times. LA got pawn shops like you wouldnt believe - they were good to us - ruthless people - they live in LA! but they showed us some heart and took stuff they didnt want trusting wede come back. Mary filled out a questionnaire at some industry talk we went to. She won a looping machine from Roland who hosted it. walked about 4 miles to there place across LA, to pick it up, trying to stay out the sun. Then straight back to Hollywood to pawn it.
