This is not the exact version but the text is somewhat near to his speech. Periyava stayed at a bus stand near Lampotti. There was a Anjaneya temple.cow shed,and a small odai with water. Periyava stayed here for 12 days where there were less facilities. This was during the month of December. It was bitter cold. At that time blanket company owners like Ramanathan Chatla,Viswanathan Chatla,Srinivasan chatla and others helped Periyava to stay at Lampotti. During that time Shri Subramania Swamy came to see Periayava before deciding to launch Janata Party.When he came, Periayva was in rest. After he waited for some, Periyava came and met him. Periyava came to cow shed for puja where kaingariya devotees were staying. As Periyava came for puja, kaingariya devotees went for lunch leaving Vedapuri sastrigal with Periyava. Periyava asked Vedapuri to come with paper and pen and write as told by him. Vedapuri sastrigal was not good at writing or reading what he wrote. Periyava went on dictating things and Vedapuri also wrote also. When Periyava asked Vedapuri to read what he wrote, Vedapuri sastrigal struggled. Periyava was saying that Vedapuri ancestors where they were staying in Ambikoottam near Kanchipuram. They wore keerthana namam and belong Vathima category. Periyava told about Periyavachanpillai. Periyava told that Vedapuri sastrigal sashiabthiapoorthi is coming and keertha namam must be there for Vedapuri sastrigal and a photo must be taken also. Thus things were going. Periyava asked Vedapuri sastrigal to read,Vedapuri sastrigal read Periyava chan pillai. Periyava once again Vedapuri sastrigal to read what he wrote, Vedapuri sastrigal once again repeated Periyava chan pillai. Periyava got angry and was in anger mood and posed the question whether am I a chan pillai? Vedapuri sastrigal did not understand what he said. After Periyava ‘s words, other kaingariya devotees and the matter was put to rest but things are to come. At another time, Vedapuri sastrigal used to read panchangam daily. He read karnam on that day. Due to mauna, Periyava showed sign to read once again. Vedapuri sastrigal decided that Periyava wanted to do karna pose and so Vedapuri sastrigal did one karnam before Periyava. Others laughed and also Periyava laughed. Periyava wanted to read karnam once again as the words read was not loud. Periyava was also made some acts to laugh also. Periyava after hearing Periyava chan pillai called the kaingariya devotees Ekambaram,Vedapuri sastrigal and Sangli mama to go to Kasi and do some kaingariyams to Anjaneya Swamigal who was aged 96. Three were somewhat reluctant and Periyava ordered that you three had to decide, who has to go first. At that time a telegram came from Kasi Chellamaier who was looking at Sankara mutt that Anjaneya swamigal attained siddhi. There are relations between each and everything when saints speak but for us it may be irrelevant. When Periyava was telling the kaingariya devotees to go to Kasi, Anjaneya swamigal was praying to Periyava before he attained siddhi. So saints always speak relevant only. Then Periyava told the kaingariya devotees that you have to do kaingariyam only to me only.You are blessed to do service only to me. This reminds of Appar swamigal song’Puzhuvai pirakkanum ‘’ Shri Veezhinathan came for Periyava darsan and Periyava told him that you and go meet Anjaneya swamigal as per Periyava wishes. For him to travel , it will take 2 days. When Shri Veezhinathan went to Kasi and enquired about Anjaneya swamigal after two days, he came to know that he attained siddhi. Periyava was discussing about Anjaneya swamigal . Likewise, when we go near sarveswaran,sarveswaran comes to us direct. Periyava vacated the place and he went to another place 6 kms. Periyava stayed at roadside hut of a cobbler. Imagine the Jagadguru staying at the house of cobbler house. At other times, he stayed in bus stand,vacated the house of a tailor etc. How Periayva observed simplicity. Baghavat Badhal was to take as Sarvagna Peetam. Only the one who knew everything can attain that. So when Baghavat Badhal was about to go for the peetarohanam function, a cobbler stopped Baghavat Badhal questioned Him whether Baghavat Badhal knew how to repair a chappal. Everyone gathered there got annoyed on one side and on the other they were filled with anxiety. But Baghavat Badhal was very cool and in all humility He said that He would give a try. Devotees and others wondered why this cobbler was posing this question?. Bagavat Badhal said that it was correct and only the one who knew everything can attain that level. Bagavant Badhal asked for the leather, needle and thread, wiped the needle on his nose.Cobblers used to wipe the needle on their nose to get a little oil for the needle so that the needle can easily pierce the leather. When the cobbler saw this, he admitted that Baghavat Badhal knew this work also l beyond knowledge of Vedas, cooking, etc. This is coming Sankara vijayam. It came naturally to Bagavat Badhal because he sat in the pose of how a cobbler sits before he starts the work.
