This the first conversation that I had with Beans via his communication program on his ipad. (Pic to follow, though they may not be in order) Me: getting out some gum. Him: Candy. I hand him a little gum. Him: I want candy. Me: Sorry. All done candy. Then I tell him to sit down several times, because hes getting agitated, and were in a busy waiting room at the doctors office. Him: Candy. X3 Me: Not right now. Him: I am all done. Me: Sorry. Were waiting. (I sign waiting) Him: I am bored. Me: We have to wait. Him: No. Now, I pretty much know Im screwed. Hes not pushing random buttons. Hes serious. Hes not gonna wait. A guy hands me a kids book from a table beside him, which I knew would probably not help, but I tried anyway Beans got pretty worked up, so I tried to take him to the bathroom thinking it might help to calm him down, but he went into full meltdown mode. Even though I got punched several times, and he screamed the whole office down it was still a success! That was the first time Beans carried a conversation with me. ♡
