This third season is much slower than the first two. It requires a lot of quietness and I still have much to discover from it. It is the season where quietness and confidence will be my strength. Seasons of laying still before my Father for impartations of wisdom for the moments at hand. It is different than the manager in that there is much out of my control. I can choose not to over spend but I cant choose how, when or if he will speak to something. It requires a lot of patience and very specific attention to detail when he does speak. I might add that when he does speak it isnt usually in the still small voice as it is in slight impressions. Quiet praying in the Spirit helps solidify the accuracy. Most impressions are ultra slight, but when acted on produce powerful results and enriching fruit. Word of knowledge and Word of wisdom seem to flow from this place. Knowing and praying for people on issues that from a natural place, it is impossible for me to know. To give a Word in due season to wisely navigate through difficulties. The Word is ultra sharp. The first season was a sword wielded, this one is a scalpels incision. I am only in the first stages and it already is yielding life in a deeper and richer way. Wisdom is the principle thing. It is to be embraced quietly. Pastor Jeff Wittmer spoke a lot to this season this last Saturday. That is why my blog site is called Words fitly spoken.
