This thought provoking article is sadly not new news, but yet again big business continues to do whatever it wants because the people in power have close ties with the company (remember the uk government and the chief medical officer that has links to coca cola over the worrying sugar issues!). It is a well known fact that there is a significant staff crossover between the genetic food modification company and the food and drug administration in the states. I am glad we havent got the GM issue in the UK... Yet! But there are rumblings that senior politicians want to legalise #GMcrops. The problems are obvious we already use roundup on our crops and in our gardens, it is quite likely we will end up with GM crops if people dont make a stand and I for one do not want to see the demise of #bees and our other pollinating insects. I started my #allotment to teach people, my family in particular about where food comes from. If the insects die, so do our crops and eventually so do we.
