This throwback Thursday photo shows my wife Cathy and my son, Stuart, with one of the trucks that are being loaded with rice to take it to the drier. I had knee surgery and partially tore a tendon which took me out in March April, but then I broke my ankle and it became badly infected and I was at home from June through August. They, along with our farm crew (Charles Hutchens, Jeffery Lisko, Trey Lisko, William Ladner) saw that crops were planted, taken care of, and harvested for which we are most grateful. We are grateful to God that he saw us through this year, and with 100 acres of soybeans to go, we should be done next week. Blessing come in all shapes and sizes, and I cannot pretend to know all of who to thank, but two were in the form of Scott Greenwalt and Joey York. Thanksgiving and praise to all who prayed and cared for us in our community and church. I am truly humbled and blessed, and I ask for your continued prayers.
